This Rock Island County’s Metropolitan Mass Transit bus service project, included a much larger, updated space in Rock Island, Illinois. Diesel & Natural gas fueling, paint booths, vehicle lifts, a bus wash, vehicle lubrication system, a methane gas detection system and cranes and lifts were some of the components of this project.

The project was to create a LEED Silver Certified facility featuring a PV Solar Array System, a Solar Thermal Hot Water System, a Water Reclamation System at the bus wash, bio-swales, native grasses, management of construction waste, and the use of recycled materials within the facility. This new facility is on the site of an old I.H. industrial facility

This project was completed by Bush Construction as the Construction Manager and used over 25 local sub-contractors.
